MyVerse says she ended up deciding she wanted to master every facet of being an MC saying “I decided, why not master being an MC that can battle. I wanted to get every facet, and just master every facet of being an MC and a writer and a performer. I feel like any MC should battle, even if it’s writtens battles or poetry battle or even if it’s MC freestyle battle, it challenges you and makes you want to sharpen your skills and, I don't know, keep you on your toes”.

The blog starts off with footage from one of Danny Myers’ recent interviews with VladTV claiming that T-Rex sells bad bars through his performance. This footage is followed by a clip of T-Rex speaking with HipHopIsReal.com telling viewers that he talked to Danny after his VladTV interview & that Danny paid him out of pocket a, then unknown, “large sum of money”.
Chris mentions that he spoke with T-Rex when he was down in Atlanta for the Snoop Dogg’s Gladiator School event and asked him how this battle actually came about. Rex said he told Myers that he couldn't afford to battle him and said it would cost $5,000 a round. They ended up negotiating down to $4,000 a round, and that is how they got to the now very known amount of $12,000 for Rex to battle Danny Myers.

Later in the interview when asked whether contracts are good or bad for Battle Rap, ARP says “There’s both. First & foremost you gotta understand the contract that you’re in. They could be good, they could be bad. I think a good contract is a situation where you’re going to be able to utilize your talent as many times as you feel is fit to help propel yourself in the game to achieve your goals, your dreams and also try to maximize the type of finances that you wanna secure from displaying your talent, you know what I’m saying, so in that case it could be good.
“They could be bad because, you got a lot of people that are sold dreams. And there is one thing that I wanna say to people that’s tuned in is; people are hung up on views, you know what I’m saying, people are hung up on views. And if I did hundreds of thousands of views per video it’d probably be something that I’d be touting on my back too, I ain’t gonna shit on views, I ain’t gonna hate on views. But there’s two things that views do. One thing that views do is they give the artist or the person in front of the camera exposure, alright. The second thing views does is it pays & it cuts a YouTube check to the YouTube channel owner, okay. So if you’re not getting cut that YouTube check, or if you can’t utilize that exposure, and you sign a contract where you’re not really getting paid and you can’t display your talent, you have a shitty contract.”

When asked about Daylyt saying he had to go to jail after his failed attempt to get into the UK for a Dont Flop event, Eurgh explains “There’s no situation that ever involved jail. There never has been, there never will be. It’s something that's been escalated to sound like something it’s not. All that happened was he came to London, this is 2013, and obviously I’ve seen him since and he’s been completely cool but to be fair I’ve never been to a battle. He came to London in 2013 and I think because of his face tatt and whatever, they were real suspicious of him, which is unfortunate because he had got in the country before completely fine. So the second time he tried to come, for some reason they picked him out of the line & they kept him. And the thing that always gets misunderstood, and I’ve never talked about is that, I think a lot of people are under the impression that they tried to call us from customs and we didn't pick up the phone, which obviously makes no sense. What actually happened was they rang us from customs & we spoke to them. And he didn’t have a visa because those shits cost a lot of money & they take a whole process to get. So we had to try to get him through customs on like some personal ‘he’s our friend’ thing. They just didn't believe us. It’s as simple as that. We were sitting in fucking Victoria Train Station in London on the phone with customs like ‘Yo, Devonne’s our mate”. They didn't believe us & they kept him.”
